Blue Heron

A Blend of Indonesian and African CoffeesThis blend was developed in support of purchasing and protecting the McFadden Creek Great Blue Heron Rookery on Salt Spring Island. When visiting SSI, keep watch for these elegant birds as they fish along the seashores or glide smoothly through the sky to perch and nest high in the trees.Medium-bodied with lively acidity and concentrated sweet, rich toffee flavour.

Canopy Bird

A Blend of South American and Indonesian CoffeesEvery year, migratory birds return from North America to nest in the canopies of tropical shade forests where, underneath, quality Arabica coffee plants thrive. Coffee grown in the shade matures more slowly, producing a more flavourful coffee bean. Leaves fall from the trees, naturally fertilizing the soil and the birds play a vital role in controlling the insects. Canopy Bird Blend is named to draw attention to this symbiotic relationship of birds, forests and coffee farming. So, take time to enjoy a bit of bird watching while sipping a cup of Canopy Bird Blend.Full-bodied and well balanced with sweet, deep acidity and smooth chocolaty undertones.

Metta Espresso

DARK ROAST BLENDA Blend of Indonesian, African and Central American CoffeesNamed in honor of our daughter, Metta, this espresso goes beyond as an unforgettable taste experience. Moka Java

A Blend of Indonesian and African CoffeesOur Moka Java Blend has a classic name with a distinctive taste. Centuries ago coffee plants were taken from their motherland of Ethiopia to be cultivated in Moka, the main port of Yemen and later to Java. During those early years, coffee was only available from these two areas. The name Moka Java signifies the historic world of coffee and the blend of coffees we use carries the tradition of the Moka Java taste.Tantalizing and complex with hints of jasmine-like taste and aroma, medium bodied with a sweet lingering finish
